High 5 Meets is a gymnastics event production company. The founders have combined years of experience in designing, organizing and executing top-quality gymnastics' meets resulting in the best, most innovative, and smoothest-running events around. We focus on creating a positive and fun competitive experience for athletes, a comfortable and generous atmosphere for coaches, and great viewing and amenities for parents, families and friends. Our mission is to provide athletes and families at all levels of competition an experience they will cherish and give coaches a fun-filled, smooth running meet they can count on.
High5 Meets is dedicated to creating the best meet you've ever hosted! We handle, assist and consult on all aspects of event production. High5 specialized in top-quality, production timelines, troubleshooting and most importantly executing top-notch meets. High5 can handle everything your meet needs from logos, theme & naming and branding to obtaining facilities, getting sponsors, designing competition layouts, creating of unique promotional items, scoring system consultation, meet program creation, judges and more. If you've operated smaller meets and have always wanted to run a "big meet", High5 Meets is the group you want on your team. If you've never hosted any meet and are looking to start out small, High5 can offer a world of expertise and assistance to help you pull-it-off.
There are five owners of High 5 Meets. Four of the owners, Kathy & Rick Nelson, Wendy Nelson and Jack Nettesheim, also own and operate four gymnastics clubs in Wisconsin: three Midwest Twisters Gymnastics clubs (home to the "Harley Invite") & WCGC. They have created and hosted various gymnastics competitions through their 30+ years in the industry. Some events include: The "Harley Meet" (celebrating its 10th anniversary in February 2012), Compulsory and Optional state meets, Region 4 Regional Championships and numerous local invites since 1983. Kathy is the Operations Manager for Midwest Twisters, WCGC and the Harley Meet. Rick has been the USAG State Chair for Wisconsin since 1997. Wendy is the owner and manager of Gym Treasures, and Jack manages all equipment, facility and logistical components of the clubs and the meets they host. Kathy, Rick, Jack and Wendy have partnered up with Linda MacDonald, a NAWGJ judge from Illinois. Linda MacDonald has been judging competitions in Wisconsin and Illinois for many years and is currently the Illinois state judging director. High5's dedicated support team includes staff with years of professional advertising and marketing expertise, website development & design capabilities, email marketing development, graphic design and more! The combination of experience and diverse backgrounds allows High5 Meets to create the most exciting event for your gymnasts, families and club!
